Hello everyone, in this blog I wanted to share my first ever finished (sort of) Christmas card I made. I made video tutorials of the whole creations of the card and split it in two video’s. The first part shows how I made the watercolor background for my Christmas balls cut-out that made using my Silhouette Curio. To make this background I used distress ink. Here is the video for that part:
When the background was finished I foolishly enthusiastically glued it to my card base which later turned out to not have been such a good idea. But hey, I’m here to try out stuff and experiment and learn as I go. We can only learn from out mistakes.
After the background for my card was finished I proceeded to try and turn it into a snow globe card. You can see how I did that in the next video:
